Why urine smell keeps coming back
Cat and dog urine contains uric acid, which dries into crystals that are insoluble in water and untouched by ordinary detergents. Cleaning removes the liquid residue, the smell fades for a few days — then humidity reactivates the crystals and the odour returns. This is why 'cleaned but still smelly' is the most common call we get.
Enzyme treatment is the only real fix
Specialist enzymes digest the uric-acid crystals themselves, breaking them into components that no longer smell — then hot water extraction flushes everything out of the pile. Applied at the right strength, saturation and dwell time, it removes the odour permanently rather than suspending it.
